Location & Access

Getting here

Where is Verdure Sports Massage located?
We're at 1029 Solano Ave, Suite E, Albany, CA 94706, right on the Berkeley border. Easy to reach from anywhere in the East Bay. Street parking is available on Solano Ave and surrounding side streets.
How do I get into the building for my appointment?
Look for the door on Solano Ave next to the 1029 address. Head up the stairs and we're the second door on the right (Suite E). The building door is usually unlocked during business hours. If you find it locked, give us a call and we'll come down to let you in. If you're more than 15 minutes early, please wait to check in so we can finish up with the previous client.
Services & Booking

Scheduling your session

What types of massage do you offer?
We specialize in sports massage, deep tissue massage, and Swedish massage. All our sessions are therapeutic and results-focused, whether you're an athlete, dealing with chronic tension, or just need to feel better in your body. See our full services and pricing.
How do I book an appointment?
Book online anytime. You'll see real-time availability and can choose your preferred therapist, session length, and time. You can also call us at (510) 982-1686 during business hours.
How far in advance should I book?
Oscar and Maria both fill up a few days to a week ahead. For the best selection of times, we recommend booking at least a few days in advance.
How long should my massage be?
60 minutes is the most popular and works well for most people. If you have a specific injury or multiple areas that need attention, 75 or 90 minutes gives us more time to work thoroughly. 30 and 45 minute sessions are great for focused work on one area.
Packages & Pricing

Saving on sessions

What are your massage packages?
We offer two types. Standard 3-session packages are available in 45, 60, 75, 90, and 120 minute lengths with built-in savings. Runner packages are designed around training cycles for marathons, half marathons, and race tune-ups. All packages never expire and can be shared.
Do packages expire?
No. Our packages never expire. Use them on your own schedule. You can also share sessions with friends and family.
Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?
Yes. We accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Massage therapy often qualifies as a medical expense, making it a great way to use those pre-tax benefits.
Policies

Before you book

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We need 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full appointment fee. This applies to regular appointments, packages, and gift certificates. If you're running late, your session may be shortened but will still be billed in full.
Are packages refundable?
Packages are non-refundable. Sessions can be used for any session length and shared with others.
Your Session

What to expect

What should I wear for my sports massage or deep tissue session?
Undress to whatever feels comfortable for you. We use professional draping to keep you covered, but undressing fully lets your therapist do the most effective deep tissue work and stretching. You're always in control of your comfort, and we adjust accordingly.
What if I've never had a sports massage before?
You don't need to be an athlete. Sports massage techniques work for anyone dealing with muscle tension, limited range of motion, or recovery from physical activity. We'll talk through your goals at the start of every session and adjust pressure and approach to what your body needs.
