VERDURE SPORTS AND DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Focused, results-driven massage for people who run, lift, sit at a desk all day, or are working their way back from an injury. You'll find our team on Solano Avenue in Albany, CA.
VERDURE SPORTS MASSAGE
Verdure Sports Massage is an Albany-based sports and deep tissue massage practice located on Solano Avenue. Sessions focus on effective, personalized work designed to support recovery, reduce pain, and improve performance.
Appointments are guided by what you actually want worked on, whether that means spending the entire session on specific problem areas or receiving a full-body massage with extra attention where itβs needed most. Each session is tailored to your goals, training demands, and physical needs.
Who we help
Massage the way you want it.
Most of the people we see aren't training for anything. Some come in because something hurts. Some just want a good deep tissue massage on a regular basis.
Active people
You stay active and something keeps bugging you
You lift, run, ride, hike or do yoga, and a hip, a shoulder or your low back keeps getting in the way. You don't need a race on the calendar to come in. We see people well into their 80s who walk, garden and work out to keep moving.
People coming back from an injury
You're working through an injury or a stubborn problem
A shoulder that won't loosen up, a knee after surgery, a back that keeps flaring up. If you're seeing a physical therapist or a doctor, tell us what they have you working on. We work alongside that care. We don't replace it.
Desk workers
You don't play a sport. Your neck and back just hurt.
Long days at a desk, driving, lifting kids, stress. No sport required. Three out of four people we see ask us to work on their neck, shoulders or upper back.
Massage for tech neck →Athletes in training
You're training for a race or a season
Marathon build, triathlon, tournament season. We plan your sessions around your training calendar. We work with runners, cyclists, swimmers and team sport athletes all year.
Sports massage for runners →Regulars
You just want a good massage on a regular basis
Nothing has to be wrong. Plenty of our clients come in every few weeks for deep tissue or maintenance work to stay loose and feel good. Tell us the pressure you like and where to spend the time.
Not sure where you fit? Book a session and tell us what's going on. We'll take it from there.

SPORTS MASSAGE
You don't need to play a sport to book a sports massage. It's focused work on the muscles you use the most, whether that's from marathon training, the gym, weekend rides, or a long hike your hips complain about afterward.
Tell us what you do and what's bothering you. We'll build the session around your body and your goals, whether you're getting ready for an event or you just want to move comfortably through the week.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage is slow, firm work on the deeper layers of muscle. It's a good fit for stubborn knots, a back or neck that's tight from long days at a desk, or anyone who simply likes firm pressure.
Deep doesn't have to mean painful. You set the pressure, and we check in as we go.
