About Caroline
Caroline Roxas is a Senior at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing degrees in Sociology and Art Practice. In addition to being a Division I Athlete at Cal, she also runs her own small art business.
Caroline created Caro Art Collection in 2018, and since then, it has given her a platform to collaborate and interact with other small businesses and customers nationwide. The most rewarding aspect of her art business is the opportunity to create meaningful pieces for others, while cultivating skills as a young artist.
Caroline works across various mediums, primarily concentrating in acrylic and oil painting. Her over-overarching goal in art is to emphasize subtle nuances by pushing color and adding a painterly perspective to mundanity. Her academic works lean toward a formalist yet contemporary style, while her business allows her to create commissioned pieces based on customer-provided photographs.
For Caroline, art is more than self-expression; it is a vehicle for growth, connection, and exploration. She is excited to see where it will lead her next!
